Brick by brick I tore them down
The walls around your narrow cell
Broke iron down and ancient rock
Called fires up from hell

Fought dragons grim and shadows pale
Put spectres in their place
Cut down the guardian, smashed the gates
To gaze upon your face

So still you stand within a field
Of shattered rock and bone
In ruins lie the mighty walls
Your cerberus long gone

So still you stand, so dazzled blink
A world so vast and deep
A silent sigh, you turn your back
And just go back to sleep
